Chiru's son-in-law Sirish Bharadwaj surrenders

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi's son-in-law Sirish Bharadwaj surrendered before Nampally court in Hyderabad today.

We are aware that, Srija had lodged a complaint against Sirish over dowry harassment. She alleged that her husband started harassing after few months of their marraige. She said in the complaint that her husband and mother-in-law had harassed her mentally and physically, and pressurized to bring Rs. 50 lakh from her parents.

Sirish's surrender came after the Supreme Court rejected his anticipatory bail petition. So, he has no option left with him other than surrendering.

Srija ran away from home and married her lover Sirish Bharadwaj in 2007. They even seeked protection from Chiranjeevi at that time by approaching supreme court.

Chiru's family accepted the marriage after Srija gave birth to a baby girl. Srija's daughter Nivrithi is two and a half years old.
