Dream Of Playing As Jhansi Rani: Vimala Raman
Vimala Raman is an accomplished dancer and she has a dream to portray a dancer’s role on screen. “Although I was brought up in Australia I’ve learnt dance for more than 20 years. It’s when you are away from your home country that you take an effort to be in touch with your culture and tradition. I even attended Tamil classes as a child,” she says.
She played a courtesan and a dancer in the film Nagavalli.”"But I still dream of playing someone like Jhansi Rani,”" says Vimala. She is also excited to be part of her first Bollywood venture Afra Tafari, starring Govinda,Mugdha Godse and Arya Babbar.
