Ek Deewana Tha First Look
The much awaited Hindi remake of Tamil movie Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya launched its first look. The film is titled Ek Deewana Tha and has Prateik Babber and Amy Jackson in leading roles.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, the director of the original, is wielding microphone for this flick as well.
Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya, starring Simbu and Trisha in Tamil was a big hit and achieved a cult status among romantic films down South India. The songs composed by Oscar winner A.R. Rahman are still in much demand.
Produced by Fox Star Studios in association with the director’s Photon Kathaas Production, the movie made headlines recently as sources revealed that Prateik and Amy are dating each other. They have made a strong bond and is happy in each others company, sources say.
Gautham Menon praised the actors saying they are as good as Simbu and Trisha from the original.
A 20-second long curtain raiser is also out.The audio will be released in January 2012.(Agencies)
